New Method For Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Atheletes To Recover Faster

bjj

I trained in martial arts as a teenager and fell in love with Judo and Brazilian jiu jitsu in my early 20’s while I was taking care of my very good friend Clyde Worthen 6th Degree Black Belt Kodokan Judo and Head Instructor Tech Judo Club.

Over the years, I have studied: Kenpo, Karate, Japanese Jiu Jitsu, Aikido, Kendo, and Iaido: just to name a few. This has given me the ability to understand the types of injuries that most mixed martial art athletes suffer with.

So when someone comes in and tells me they were caught in a kimora hold I know that they had their shoulder almost twisted out of it’s socket and I know exactly what to do.

When they tell me they were caught in a guillotine choke I know that my patient almost had their neck ripped off and now I know exactly what to look for.

I was instantly hooked watching ultimate fighting championship when it first came out in the 80’s as a kid. Back then it was nothing what it is today. Today the athletes are different, more skilled, more precision they are better, smarter, athletes. However this leads to more serious and complicated injuries.

I’m not saying that we can treat all injuries related to MMA and BJJ. Some injuries are so severe they require surgery. However, for the most part I have developed my technique which focuses on accelerating the body’s natural ability to heal and enhance muscle recovery through a variety of proven methods and modalities.

These methods are designed to accelerate the athletes recovery from bruises and lacerations received during training and fighting.

Like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Chiropractic is a beautiful, intricate, detailed art that needs nothing added to it to make it better. And just like BJJ it’s a relationship between master and student.
